Evaluation Question 4.
The audience of our thriller is shown to be mainly teenage males. This is shown by the use of our survey done on Surveymonkey.com. The survey shows that 25 of the 38 people who completed the survey were males. Therefore our percentages show that roughly 65% of the viewers were male as shown below;
Our survey also showed that 97% of the viewers were between the age of 16-24, one person said that they were between the ages of 65-74 however we can assume that this result was not true. From these results we can assume that the reason that these people specifically would watch our thriller is due to the fact that it is targeted towards the younger generation, as they tend to prefer fast paced films. Our thriller is also extremely violent which attracts young teenage males. We also can gather from our Vox Populi that teenagers would watch our thriller as many of them stated that thrillers were one of their preferred types of film.
As our audience is of a younger age it is safe to assume that they will not be going out to view out film, and will most likely prefer to go to the internet to watch the film, possibly on netflix, or cucirca.

The manchurian candidate
The manchurian candidate is a non-linear film based on war veterans who have been 'mind controlled' by the Soviet Union. The film begins with Raymond Shaw, being credited for the platoons survival and being awarded the medal of honour, after the recommendation of the Captain, Cpt Bennett Marco.
Once the platoon returns to the US, (minus two memebers who were MIA) two members begin having recurring nightmares about the two missing members being gunned down by their own men, infront of a communist party. As these scenes play out, the director chooses to make a large number of cuts and quick edits that gives the audience a sense of their struggle and confusion, as it confuses the audience aswell.
The film progresses unto a point that people discover Raymonds difficulties, and learns what triggers it, The queen of diamonds playing card, from this point on the film takes a generic approach to camera angles with no real stand outs, but continues to keep its quick edits and non-linear style to keep the confusion and tension of raymonds situation up.

Preliminary evaluation.
Preliminary Evaluation.
The story of our preliminary task is an exchange from a person in a hurry for a meeting whilst the other was the employer. We included a variety of different editing techniques and shots, ranging from quick edits to rolling shots, these all come together to form our preliminary video, the main task of our prelim was to show how to have someone walk through a door and cut to the other side. i feel like we performed this reasonably well and that our task was completed to a high standard as you can very hardly tell that it is in fact two shots, we had some small problems when making the scene as we had people walking in the background and how we had problems when it came to having ellese walk through the door.
Overall i feel like the scene came out well and that the task that we were set was completed to a high standard.
